First Tier Animal Mimicry

These are the abilities an Animal Mimicker would absorb as a first tier user. It takes a full action to absorb an animal's abilities. At this level, you may only shift between two animal forms in a scene. These do not necessarily represent exact species. Most are interchangeable. For example, if you want to be a squirrel warrior, use Rabbit. For a rhino, Bear. A jackal would be a Coyote. Just make sure the PGM is cool with the interchange.

Despite stat changes, Life Points do not increase, nor does movement speed. Weird, right?

Badger

Badgers are excellent trackers and fierce, tough fighters.

+2 Constitution
+1 Willpower

Badgers also gain a +2 bonus to fights when outnumbered by enemies.

Bat

You might as well start practicing your Christian Bale voice. SWEAR TO ME!

You gain Echolocation.

Bear

Bears are strong. Really strong.

+3 Strength

+2 bonus to Fear/intimidation checks.

Buffalo

Buffalo are cuddly. When you absorb a Buffalo's abilities, you also become cuddly. And hardy.

+1 Strength
+2 Constitution

Buffalo's get a +2 bonus when defending non-combatants/civilians.

Coyote

While you may not be killing any roadrunner's, you are becoming seriously adaptable. And clever.

+1 to Dexterity
+1 to Willpower
+1 to Perception

+2 bonus to Influence or Notice rolls revolving around trickery or deceit.

Crane

Graceful and beautiful, Crane's are the quintessential bitch of the Animal Kingdom. Besides Dark Horse.

+1 to Dexterity
+1 to Perception
+1 to Acrobatics

+2 to impress on visuals.

Dolphin

Fuck fishes, dolphins are where it's at. Besides an insatiable sexual lust (which, let's face it, as a human, you already have), you're pretty epic.

+1 Dexterity
+1 Intelligence
+1 Perception

+2 to any checks involving water.

Eagle

Eagle's fly. And are pretty good hunters.

The ability to fly. No wings, just self-propelled.

Elk

Elk's are dicks. And very aggressive.

+1 Strength
+1 Constitution
+1 Perception

Elk warriors receive a +2 bonus to Influence/intimidate rolls.

Fox

Fox's are clever, just not quite as hardy or adaptable as some animals.

+2 Willpower
+1 Intelligence

Gain a +2 to confuse/sneak against enemies.

Lizard

Lizards are quite quick, but not always quick enough to escape humans.

Lizards gain Accelerated Healing 3, CON x Turn.

Mouse

The mouse is notoriously quick. And icky!

+3 Dexterity

+2 bonus to any rolls involving sneak/stealth.

Otter

Otter's are deft hunters, skilled scavengers, and really goddamn cute.

+2 Constitution
+1 Perception

+2 to swimming rolls. An additional +2 to eating of their tummies.

Owl

And Owl is wise, observant, and vigilant.

+1 Intelligence

Owls also have excellent sight, and gain Night Vision.

Puma

Puma's are powerful predators. Strong, deadly, and supremely fashionable - or at least cooler than K-Swisses.

+1 to Strength
+1 to Dexterity
+1 to Constitution

+2 bonus to Ambushing.

Rabbit

Rabbits are the masters of evasion and survival; they are also kind of awesome.

+2 Dexterity
+1 Perception

+2 to rolls when running away and hiding.

Raccoon

Those chosen by the raccoon totem are insatiably curious, highly intelligent, and profoundly devious scavengers. If there's a way in, around, or through, they'll find it.

+1 Dexterity
+1 Intelligence
+1 to Perception

Coons receive a +2 bonus to Crime rolls involving breaking, entering, lock-picking, or any other sort of intrusion.

Raven

Nevermore.

+1 Perception
+2 to Willpower

+2 bonus to rolls involving Scientific Investigation - and Wild Card: Bird Calling.

Snake

Snakes are patient hunters and big eaters.

+2 Strength
+1 Dexterity

+2 to rolls making/breaking grapples.

Weasel

Weasels are sleek hunters and have the highest metabolic rate of any mammal.

+1 Strength
+2 Dexterity

+2 to rolls involving utterly destroying things - not people.

Wolf

Wolfs are pack animals, working together to do a little bit of everything.

+2 to Strength
+1 to Dexterity

+2 bonus to rolls involving teamwork with other characters

Wolverine

The toughest of just about any animal, a Wolverine is pretty much a Tank.

+4 Constitution

+2 to Survival Rolls.
