Powers

What makes you meta. That special little part of you that is key to being a super-powered player in Masked. What do you do? That's up to you. At CharGen this is a matter of how many Powers Points you have or how many Drawbacks you take. After CharGen, you can buy them for a chunk of XP. Most of these are stand alone, but for multiple abilities, they can all be paired together.

It cannot be stressed enough that while we have given these powers names, they are not necessarily that power alone - in fact, they usually aren't. Want gravity manipulation? Try Psychokinesis, Flight, and maybe Density Control. Want to be a darkness-themed, shadow-shifting marvel? Try Photon Manipulation, White Noise, Teleportation and Invisibility and pair them with some Limited Use, and maybe some other powers to round yourself out, probably a Super Attack, which just represents having some form of weaponized energy projection.

We'd like to think we've included most every Power there is, but we know that just isn't possible. For obvious reasons, we've excluded a few powers. Omniscience, time travel, or cosmic power manipulation for instance. If you have an idea on a Power we don't have, then post a forum suggestion or just @mail or page us. Or just e-mail us. We'd be happy to add new Powers to the page.

For the most part you can buy very few new powers after CharGen. You may upgrade them, but it is very, very uncommon to gain entirely unrelated new powers after you have been added to the grid. Throw us a page if you think you've got a good enough reason to, though.
